Mahela jumps out again, looks to loft over long on and mis-hits one for the first time today. It makes contact high on the bat and goes straight up for a simple catch at long on. 2.1 to TM Dilshan, gone, Dilshan's horror patch shows no sign of ending, and that shot said it all. Short of good length and straight, and Dilshan is not in the kind of form Mahela is, but still went through with the straight lofted drive. Timing was conspicuous by its absence, and it ballooned for an easy catch towards mid off.. 24/1 | ||||||||||

Full toss from Lamb, dealt with in violent fashion by Perera, who was again eyeing the long on boundary, but he could not get enough elevation this time. Chigumbura runs to his left from long on and takes it a couple of feet inside the ropes. Well taken!. 80/2 16.2 to AD Mathews, gone! Mathews goes hard with the slog sweep, but can't time it half as well as his incredibly in-form partner at the other end, it lands in the hands of Erwine at midwicket who jumps at the right instant to pull it in.
