1.5 to P Nissanka, V Iyer settles under a skier at mid-off. Fullish and outside off, Nissanka aims to loft it over the infield. Instead, he slices it to V Iyer who takes it at the edge of the circle. Sri Lanka are two down inside two overs. 5/2 3.6 to KIC Asalanka, that's gone miles in the air, and Samson eventually jogs towards where a forward short leg may have stood and completes a well-judged catch. Length ball slanting across the stumps, and the extra bounce consumes another batter. But the ball dipped on him outside off, pitching a half foot shorter than he expected, and he ended up playing well in front of his body to try and push into the covers.
