Was a length ball around off, Gunathilaka looks to smash it down the ground, gets an inside edge on to the stumps. 24/1 4.6 to PBB Rajapaksa, fuller around off, looked like another slower ball, Rajapaksa flicks it aerially towards deep-backward square leg, but a brilliant catch by Asif Ali there at the boundary, takes it overhead and balances himself to stay inside. Dropping sitters and taking blinders, that's Pakistan for you. 30/3 18.6 to LD Madushanka, taken at mid-off! Ifthikar pedals backwards and to his left and keeps his balance nicely. Babar backs away, makes room, and tries to chop this down to third man. The outside edge dips to Sadeera's right and he hangs on cleanly. 76/2 16.4 to Imad Wasim, he's got good bat on this, but he's also picked out long-on to precision. It's another slower ball from Kumara - he cuts down 20-30kphs on those from his average in the mid-140s. This one is floated up full on middle stump. 15.1 to Haris Sohail, you could sense it coming! The wrong'un. Didn't take too much nous to predict Haris would be running down the pitch. Wanindu lands this wide outside off and turns it away from a length. It's also flat, so that languid jump down the pitch is not good enough. Quite a way down the pitch and he isn't coming back in from there. 94/3 17.1 to Asif Ali, dragged it straight to long-on! Arguably Pakistan's biggest hitter is gone second ball. This is a googly, but lobbed up very slowly outside off. He stays put in the crease because that's in the zone, but it appears he's too eager to send this a long way. The loopy delivery ends up coming off the toe-end and it's Wanindu again, clogging it up for Pakistan. 104/5 17.6 to Sarfaraz Ahmed, and now he's through him. Sri Lanka's newest star has put them on the brink. Short of a length, googly. Sarfraz static and upright this time - but still playing a slog.
