14.4 to A Gardner, beautiful bowling, clever bowling, cleans her up! Saw Gardner coming, held it back in length, really slowed it up and Gardner, who was eyeing the leg side was through the slog too early as the ball slipped under her bat swing to hit middle and leg. 104/3

2.6 to AJ Healy, Jensen strikes, and a massive one! Healy's been eyeing the leg side, this one was angled in, cramping her for room, she couldn't free her arms, all she could manage to do was chip it to midwicket, who took a few steps back and took it comfortably.. 20/1

19.5 to EA Perry, Perry perishes! Kerr saw her advance, held the length back, it was the googly so Perry was going with the spin but lost her shape as she tried to slog her away, missed it completely and the keeper did the rest. Good knock, though. 154/5
4 | 0 | 31 | 2 | 7.75 | 7 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
7.3 to MM Lanning, top edged and taken, against the run of play, New Zealand strike! It was much slower and closer to off, there was some extra bounce but Lanning did not adjust her bat speed for the slower paced delivery, ended up ballooning it towards where short fine where Tahuhu took it with ease. 52/2 17.1 to BL Mooney, screamer at long-on ends Monney's brilliant knock! She danced down the track, wasn't to the pitch but got plenty on it as she targetted lomg-on, Suzie Bates hasn't had a great time with the bat, but that catch running to her right before timing her jump to perfection to pluck it out of thin air and tumbling over to send back the set battter could be crucial. 122/4 |

16.4 to AC Kerr, knocks her over and is that the match? Amelia Kerr slogs across the line, the skids on and crashes into middle, and Australia are cock-a-hoop, know exactly how massive that wicket is. 115/5 16.5 to HNK Jensen, length outside off, she looks to clear mid-off, the right intention but the execution isn't good enough, mistimes it to id-off, who takes a few steps back to complete a comfortable catch, and Megan Schutt, who had dropped a sitter a few overs back has redeemed herself. 115/6 18.2 to AM Peterson, Megan Schutt has her third! It was another slower one on a length, she was through the swing to the leg side too early, missed it completely to be bowled comprehensively. 129/7

3.5 to RH Priest, trapped in front! Priest was constantly looking leg side, she fired this full and fast on middle, Priest missed nearly yorked and that would have crashed into the stumps, New Zealand don't review, would have known that was dead, and Australia break a threatening opening stand. 25/1

7.6 to SW Bates, length on middle, she rocks back to pull this, it isn't short enough for the shot, skids on and spins just a bit as she is struck seemingly in front. The umpire isn't interested but Australia are, they review this. Great review and Bates' poor tournament continues. That would have crashed into middle, Australia chip away. 53/2 13.1 to SFM Devine, Wareham delivers the blow that could knock New Zealand out, Devine charges down the wicket and misses the leg break thrown well wide of off stump, can't reach it this time and Healy does the rest. 81/3 15.4 to ML Green, Wareham has her revenge! saw her advance and dropped the length short, also pushed it through a little, Green tried to change her shot, initially intending to go big, but to no avail, as she misses it and Healy whips off the bails. 108/4
